The music studio is a private institution and offers specialised training to students, adult beginners, and advanced musicians in cello and music theory.
Methodology
Madaleen understands that all students are different and has different goals and expectations when learning a musical instrument. She is sensitive to the student's personality and adapts her teaching methodology to help the student achieve his/her full potential while enjoying the art of music.
Qualifications
Madaleen Mahne studied BMus at the University of Pretoria with subjects Cello, Piano, Singing, Music Theory and Historical Performance Practice. She graduated BMus(Hons) Cum Laude.
Experience
She has been a music teacher since 2004, teaching Cello, Piano and Music Theory at leading schools in Pretoria, and also privately. She has performed with several orchestras in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Durban and is currently part of Espresso Ensemble String Quartet, performing regularly. As a singer, she has been part of a number of choirs in Gauteng and also performs as soloist at various occasions.

Please note the studio is closed in the afternoon, on Fridays and during weekends.
